Anemone Sarabande

The delicate carving found on the petal motif takes its cue from Stephen Doherty’s masterful technique of gently tracing a blade across the painted petal when the ink is still wet. The Tibetan wool background offers a neutral base to the silky threads that appear thaw and melt like watercolours.
